Origins & Production
Rose Otto water, also known as rose hydrosol or rose water, is crafted through a meticulous steam distillation process. It begins with the harvest of fresh Damask Rose blossoms (Rosa Damascena), typically in regions like Bulgaria or Turkey where the climate is conducive to their growth.
The petals are placed in a still with water, and steam is passed through them, extracting the essential oil and capturing the aromatic water vapor. The condensed vapor forms the precious Rose Otto water. This gentle method preserves the therapeutic properties of the rose, including anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits. The result is a fragrant and versatile skincare ingredient renowned for its hydrating, soothing, and toning qualities.

I love it. It has really helped my acne.
I love this toner, I also have the chamomile one and love that too. I alternate between them depending on how I feel! I use them every day after cleansing just to balance the skin and add an extra bit of hydration. My whole routine is Floragy now and my skin looks and feels great :)

This pure rose water toner is a refeshing moment of instant renewal on my skin each morning and evening. It is easily absorbed into the skin, it is gentle and smells so fresh. I'm definitely keeping this as part of my daily skin routine going forward.
This is the third bottle of rosewater toner I’ve had. I’ve received it twice as a gift and when my second bottle ran out, I decided I had to keep up the routine, so bought this one for myself. I used to be really slap dash with my skincare routine in the morning, quickly cleansing my skin in the shower and then slathering moisturiser on before starting my day, but using a toner has slowed down the process and created time to breathe. The scent is lovely, distinctively rose, though light and refreshing rather than a deep musky floral. I don’t know whether it has directly improved my skin, but it has encouraged me to take more care over my skincare routine, and I think that in doing that my skin looks a lot more vibrant and clear. Mostly though, I just appreciate the slow ritual it has brought to my day, as well as precious time for myself.

It’s hard to pick a favourite product since discovering Floragy skincare last year! They are all beautiful, but I especially love this rose toner! It smells incredible, and leaves my skin feeling refreshed and soft. I use it in my morning and evening routine and spritz a little on during the day for a quick wake me up! My grandma taught me to use Rose Water on my skin, and I used to be able to buy it in brown glass bottles from Boots the Chemist, along with Witch Hazel, many years ago, and I can't remember now when they stopped selling it. So I was thrilled to see that I could again get this wonderful product from Floragy. I like it's in a brown glass bottle too, with a spray nozzle, and have been applying a cooling spray direct to my face then dabbing with a cotton pad ;))

I've not used a toner for a good few years, horror, gasp. I could never find one that suited my very dry, sensitive skin. As soon as I saw this one, though, I had to buy it. I don't regret it one little bit and neither does my skin. It comes in a generous sized bottle and smells divine, very feminine, and summery. I absolutely love it. My skin feels soft and moist after use, not tight and tingling as I remember from past experiences. I use it with my favourite Calm Facial Oil, and my skin just glows.
