The Philosophy Behind the Balm

At Floragy, we believe in simplicity, efficacy, and integrity. Our mission is to create skincare that doesn’t need a shelf full of bottles, but rather a couple of products which perform multiple roles. Thus, Nourish Multi-Balm was born: formulated to cleanse, nourish, protect, and multitask, all in one.

Infused with Camellia Seed Oil (rich in Omega-6), Grapeseed Oil (with vitamin E), Rosehip Oil (vitamin A & C), Shea Butter, and Candelilla Wax as a vegan barrier sealant, the balm strikes a balance between weightless nourishment and effective occlusion.

Below, we share seven extraordinary, brand-approved uses; from brow conditioner to gentle make-up remover and tips on how to integrate these into your routine.

1. Brow Sculptor & Conditioner

Why it works – Brow hairs, like scalp hair, appreciate nourishment, oils, and slip. The rich oils in the balm help condition the hairs, while the waxy texture offers light hold, perfect for grooming or “laminating” effect.

How to use:
  • Use a clean spoolie or brow brush.
  • Warm a very small amount between your fingers (or the spoolie) and brush upward/outward through brows.
  • You can apply over tinted brows to smooth down stray hairs, or on bare brows to shape & nourish.

Floragy tip: Apply nightly (or alternate nights) to brows. Over time, the nourishing actives can help improve the texture and appearance of sparse or brittle brow hairs.

2. Hydrating Lip Balm / Lip Repair

Why it works: Our formula is deeply moisturising and protective. The balm’s occlusive barrier helps prevent moisture loss, while the oils deliver essential fatty acids and antioxidants.

How to use:
  • Apply a thin layer to lips anytime (morning, night, on the go).
  • For a repair mask: apply a slightly thicker layer overnight.
  • In colder weather: layer over a hydrating serum for extra barrier protection.

Floragy tip: Carry a mini or scoop out a pea-size to tuck into a small container, your lips will thank you.

3. Gentle Make-Up Remover / Cleansing Balm

Why it works: The balm can dissolve makeup, sunscreen, and pollutants, while simultaneously nourishing the skin. It functions as a “rinse-off” balm cleanser.

How to use:
  • Use on dry skin: scoop a small amount and massage over your face (excluding eyes at first).
  • Warm with your fingertips and let it melt makeup, then either:
  • Use a damp cloth to wipe away

Floragy tip: For waterproof eye makeup, gently hold a damp cloth over your eyes for a few seconds to help soften before wiping.

4. Overnight Treatment / Skin Mask

Why it works: On dry or compromised skin, the balm acts as a rich occlusive layer, sealing in hydration and enabling repair. It’s particularly helpful on dry patches, under eyes, or on rough areas (cheeks, nose, lips).

How to use:
  • After your regular serums, apply a thin layer over targeted zones.
  • Leave it overnight and allow skin to absorb overnight.
  • In the morning, cleanse gently (e.g. via the balm removal method above or a mild cleanser).

Floragy tip: If you find the texture too heavy for full face overnight, use it as a “spot mask” — just over problem zones.

5. Cuticle & Nail Bed Nourisher

Why it works: The oils and butter in the balm penetrate the cuticle and surrounding skin, softening and reducing split skin. The wax helps seal in moisture, aiding repair.

How to use:
  • Push back nails / shape nails.
  • Apply a small amount to each cuticle, massaging gently.
  • Can be used multiple times a day (especially after hand washes).

Floragy tip: Pair with a bit of gentle massage to stimulate circulation. Over time, nails look healthier, and the skin around them less flaky.

6. Lash / Brow “Co-Wash” or Gentle Cleanse + Condition (Low-Residue Use)

Why it works: While the balm is richer than a typical co-wash, a very small amount (properly emulsified) can gently cleanse the lash line or brows without overly stripping natural oils. It’s a hybrid “cleanse + condition” move especially helpful on brow or lash extensions (if ingredient list is suitable — always patch and check compatibility).

How to use:
  • Mix a tiny amount with water (or a humectant), then use a spoolie or micro-brush along the lash line or brows.
  • Rinse or blot away excess.

Floragy tip: Use this approach on “no wash” days when you want to refresh without full cleansing.

7. Hair Tip Balm for Split Ends & Flyaways

Why it works: Though not a full hair mask, applying a minuscule amount to dry hair ends can smooth split ends, tame flyaways, and deliver nourishment. The oils in the balm help impart softness, while the wax helps tame frizz.

How to use:
  • Start with dry or 80% dry hair.
  • Rub a teeny bit (a grain-size) between your fingers, then apply only to the ends (avoid roots).
  • For flyaways or stray frizz around face, you can dot a tiny amount.

Floragy tip: Use sparingly. One of the joys of this balm is that “a little goes a long way.” Overapplication can feel heavy.

Safety Notes & Best Practices

  • Patch test first. Always test a small area, especially if you’re new to multi-use balms or have reactive skin.
  • Avoid broken skin / mucous membranes. Not for application to broken or open skin or inner eye area.
  • Choose unscented during pregnancy / breastfeeding. You’ll want to skip or use the unscented version in those times.
  • Use clean fingers, tools, or spatulas to scoop the balm to keep contamination at bay.
  • Because this is a wax/oil dense formula, warm it gently between fingers before applying, especially in cooler climates.
  • Start with very little. You can always add more, but it’s easier to control from a light base.

Why Nourish Stands Out

  • Ingredient integrity & balance — The blend of camellia, rosehip, grapeseed, shea butter, and arrowroot is carefully crafted to nourish without greasiness. The arrowroot helps reduce a “heavy” feel.
  • Multi-function built in — From the beginning, we designed the balm to be more than a lip balm: to cleanse + nourish + protect.
  • Made in mindful batches — Each batch is handmade in our Kent studio.
  • Transparency & clean formula — No parabens, sulfates, or phthalates; vegan and cruelty-free.
  • Empowers minimalism — Because who wants a bathroom full of half-used jars when one jar can do so much?

Ritual Suggestion

We like to call Nourish Multi-Balm a ritual companion. In your evening ritual, after serum or face oil, you might:

  • Use it as your make-up remover / balm cleanser.
  • Pat off / rinse gently.
  • Reapply a thin layer as a spot overnight treatment.
  • While it’s on, sweep it lightly through brows or lips.
  • In the morning, wake to soft, replenished skin and lips.

Over time, many “single-use” jars migrate into drawers we forget. With Nourish, we want you to fall in love with one little jar, that can do a lot.
